Other Lenovo 2-in-1s hold their own against the X1 Yoga Gen 6, but like some medieval princeling contesting an older brother's claim to a throne, they too might get a shot in, but they can only win a skirmish or two before falling behind in every other area other than price. You do have the option to upgrade to an IR camera though, which we definitely recommend, and like most of Lenovo's laptops, the webcam comes with a physical privacy shutter, which we will never fail to openly appreciate. For our last benchmark, we measure a laptop's unplugged runtime while playing a locally stored video with screen brightness at 50% and audio volume at 100%. The same cant be said for the EliteBook, which likely throttled back its even stronger Core i7 to stay cool. They're both small fans, but they do a good enough job of keeping the CPU cool. But if you want a premium experience with the fewest compromises, look to the X1 Yoga. The X1 Titanium Yoga, on the other hand, uses a lower-wattage Core i7, and thus had trouble keeping up in the longer-running Handbrake and Photoshop tests. This test is not as CPU-focused as Cinebench or Handbrake, bringing the performance of the storage subsystem, memory, and GPU into play. Business users who've been fiddling with the cursor button for years are going to be very comfortable with it. As we said earlier, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 is not a 2-in-1 laptop that's going to turn any heads. The app also allows you to assign a function to the F12 key and set a battery-charge threshold to prolong the batterys lifespan. With all my full hd touchscreen laptops with ~42-50 Wh batteries (previously Intel now AMD), the battery life only really dwindled on higher cpu/gpu usage. In ULs 3DMark, we run the Sky Diver (lightweight, capable of running on integrated graphics) and Fire Strike (more demanding, for high-end gaming PCs) tests, both DirectX 11-based. Note that this is the UHD+ model; going with FHD+ would no doubt add a bit of life to a charge. You get fairly strong CPU and integrated GPU performance here, and the SSD is rather fast for PCIe 3.0. Port selection has been updated (although the Ethernet extension adapter is gone and there's no SD card reader) with Thunderbolt 4, performance hardware is faster than ever, battery lasts longer, and zero-touch login has the laptop ready to go almost instantly. I've been using the X1 Yoga (Gen 6) for a week to see just how well Lenovo implemented the changes and, ultimately, whether or not it's worth a buy. A classic ThinkPad X-series? Battery Life (PCMark10 test): 13 hours 14 minutes Other than that, you get almost no other aesthetic flare beyond the red cursor button in the middle of the keyboard. That would be the X13 Yoga. You get unmuffled audio whether you're in tent, stand, or tablet mode, and the sound is quite decent for a laptop this size. A massive part of the reason why "AMD laptops really sucked compared to Intel" as you said, was BECAUSE Intel bribed manufacturers for so many years. I talk to Lenovo about it all the time.
